Live the life! A debut night for 2019, Viva La Vida is a dynamic and progressive re-creation of the world-leading nightlife in the cities of Spain and Portugal. Amidst clusters of bars and lounges, walk, nibble, and sip your way through the buzzing tapas and drinking culture of the region. James Beard and Food & Wine award-winning Chef Jamie Bissonnette (Toro in NYC, Boston, and abroad) will orchestrate a diverse and innovative menu of over 30 kinds of pinxtos (small plates) a gigantic paella, all matched with 40+ sherries and wines, and over 15 innovative cocktails.
Sommeliers and Mixologists from near and far will include:
- • Lisbon speakeasy Red Frog, just named 13th on
- • Sherry expert Nick Africano from En Rama, pop-up sherry bar in NYC.
- • Sommelier Jodie Battles of Toro restaurants, JK Food Group
- • Mixologists from Tulsa’s own Foolish Things Bar and Biscuit
From San Sebastian to Lisbon, this one-night experience places equal focus on what’s in your glass and on your plate. (Note: This is not a seated event)
